I graduated in 2015 from Greenville College (now Greenville University) with my B.A. in English, and I followed God’s direction by earning my Early Childhood Certificate from Southwestern Illinois College. My experiences working with children have been personal, volunteer, and professional. As a nine-year Sunday School teacher, classroom aide, and finally Christian school teacher, I’ve learned and grown with my students in the love of Christ. I firmly believe that, while I intellectually understood what it meant to come to God like a little child, my eyes were not opened to the true beauty of these words until I worked with young children every day.
My husband, Jacob, and I were married in 2015, and we share our home with one very fluffy, very vocal feline. In my free time, I enjoy art, animation, music, literature, and creative writing. In addition, I love to cook (and eat!), as well as take long walks with Jacob.
